Writing is an art and needs to be indulged in with a passion. Only those writers who have a passion for writing and write in their first language can hope to make a dent in the writing industry.

I have been a writer for over 14 years, coming from a family of journalists and I belonging to the fourth generation of journalists, I know what it takes to find good writers. I have been a fulltime freelance writer for the past 6 years writing informative, genuine, optimized articles for various clients all over the world. Sometimes the work load gets too heavy and I have to look around for writers. That was the experience of my life! 

I found many writers with Masters Degrees in English Literature but they could not write as I had expected them to. I began to lose time editing and correcting their writings. I did find a few but they were already into full-time jobs and could not guarantee when they would deliver – although the idea of earning some extra cash did make their mouth water. – These fly-by-night writers were not dependable at all. 

Similarly I found a lot of writers on the various bidding sites offering the ‘highest quality articles’. When I interacted with them they just never knew what SEO was all about. To them it was inserting keywords here there and every where – some even said that the more the better. 

I discovered that most of the bidders on the sites were from the third world countries where the US Dollar had a lot of weight. These people did not mind spending an hour every evening writing for the dollar. However, I also discovered, through compression software and online premium plagiarism checkers that these writers were using the titles given by me to search the web through the search engines, On finding a similar article they would just rewrite it to about 40 percent originality. 

Believe me this got me into a lot of trouble and so I decided not to outsource my work.

This also got me to cut my costs and service charges. I now write for a pittance but the business is good.
